5 Second Funny Cars Return To Canada! — The National Drag Racing Association brings 5 second Funny Cars back to Canada for the May long weekend!
“The NDRA Alcohol Funny Car Series presented by Ohsweken Speedway will present the best of the popular Alcohol Funny Car class, and the inaugural event marks a return to the traditional, qualify on Saturday, race on Sunday format that South-Western Ontario drag racing fans haven’t experienced in nearly five years”, stated Dale Boeru, Director of Operations for NDRA.
“With a strong contingent of race cars slated to take their shot at winning the first race in series history, the main objective for series organizers is to have a successful first outing, while keeping their eyes on the future growth of the series, including the addition of several teams that plan to join the series at future events”, continued Boeru.

They will be filming as “the” Motorhead Traveler Kevin Cullen experiences his first taste of Drag Racing from the ground up including Drag Racing School hosted by Derkzen Motorsports. Watch for this program on MAV TV in the USA and on Canada Travel and Escape in Canada.
